Foundlife 03:57
I found my socks Behind the couch I found my shoes Got up and went out And I found the paper And I found your name found my way home Still feeling the same And I found Jesus on a porch swing I saw God on a bridge I found angels on a creek bed Just Looking for some Fish I found life I found sadness In a mailbox down town And I found the wisdom and courage for sale And I found a time frame With a picture inside found my way home safely tonight And I found a baby on a sidewalk I saw A dog in a tree I found heaven at a rest stop With no entry fee and I found life I found Life I found life I found my socks Behind the couch I found my shoes Got up and went out

Beneath your bed in a broken old box Lies some folded up papers all filled with my thoughts of you, and all the things I want to do, prayers for your, dreams of you Hopelessly all about you In the top of your closet unless you have lost it Or maybe even tossed it, there lies a locket Inside you'll find you and me, and you were in love with me Hopeless and helpless young me Merry Go go around up and down Spin me right out of this town Just because I wrote this song here Don't mean I belong here So Merry Go go around Some things aren't fair in this fair on the ferriswheel Sometimes I forget how to feel, what is real Knees hurt to bad to kneel We survived this ordeal Merry Go go around up and down Spin me right out of this town Just because I wrote this song here Don't mean I belong here So Merry Go go around

Facts 03:21
A beer joint and a Catholic church Are pretty much the samething Just some sinners sitting around Swapping lies Praying to God on Sunday morn Cause the morning light’s too bright I guess that stained glass windows Are a little easier on the eyes Just a few facts That we all should know Here’s a few more That I propose A good girl won’t always do what her parents taught her And angels don’t wear Estee Lauder And you can’t find love where it never lies ‘Cause nobody gets married from a one night stand Even if you’re in a Kenny Rogers cover band You got to know when tohold when to fold And when to say goodbye In church you’ve got a man in a robe Talking ‘bout the wrong you’ve done In a bar you got some old fool Who’s put it in a song So pass me that communion cup Y’know some of us justcan’t get enough And confession might run all night But last call’s at 2 Just a few facts That we all should know Here’s a few more That I propose A good girl won’t always do what her parents taught her And angels don’t wear Estee Lauder And you won’t find lovewhere it doesn't lie Nobody gets married from a one night stand Even if you’re in a Hall and Oates cover band Cause if your kiss is on the list of a man eater Boy you better say goodbye Nobody gets married from a one night stand Even if you’re in a Tom Petty cover band Cause if your Free Fallin’ with Mary Jane You don’t know how it feels

Earwig 03:02
You tunneled your way into my heart Burrowed yourself through my brain Shattered my memory, shattered my memories You left an essence inside, a poison in my veins I’m hung in the balance I see myself as strong but I am weak Cradled with illusion, veiled with illusions I can’t wash away your scent, is it in my head? Yeah you felt the tinge, when you heard me cringe On your way to the depths of my soul You’ve become pancreatic now I’m all divvied how You see fit I’m desperate to rid myself of you You’ve crawled inside my bones oh how they ache I can feel you under my skin, you’re crawling beneath my skin My heart’s a dark corner, forever you will stay Yeah you felt the tinge, then heard me cringe On your way to the depths of my soul You’re so emphatic now I’m all enveloped how You see fit

Swan 03:40
Like a winter wind in October It comes out of nowhere Like narrow halls, closing in on all sides It leaves us breathless and broken too Until now it’s all been golden Now that it’s brass, oh what to do? No one it seems is ever ready For black wreaths and our adieu Very soon, we’ll all be leaving Behind someone to grieve Over time that feels stolen And the soul that we wore on our sleeve Sun is setting, just over the hill The birds must now take flight Their language lost within translation Between the spirit and the gulf It's in the ink we spilled on pages Though forlorn in but a short time Listing on the wind like dandelions Our memory scatters in frame, in mind Very soon, we’ll all be leaving Behind someone to grieve Over time that feels stolen And the soul that we wore on our sleeve

about

Manitoba Rock n Rolla returns with the follow up to the self produced free release "Would you Believe" with a 6 song EP entitled "Holy Toledo!" This time, Christopher Allen Withrow handles production duties and the guys are joined by Caleb Riddle (percussion) and Rus Powell (bass). Featuring 6 tracks that range from upbeat and thought provoking (Foundlife, Swan), to a dim turn (Go Around, Earwig), and into a humorous swing reminiscent of John Prine (Facts, Simmer Down Sally), "Holy Toledo!" contains a wide variety in a small package. "Holy Toledo!" also welcomes a very special guest on "Go Around" in the uber-talented Rhyan Sprague, vocalist for the band "All the Little Pieces".
